How the Outcome Engine actually works
A few short examples of how an intention becomes a circle, a conversation and, eventually, something you can point at.
What does an intention look like?
An intention is a single honest sentence about what you want this season. For example: "I want to land my first three paying clients for my consultancy by the end of the quarter", or "I want to rebuild a daily writing habit without burning out again". When you join a circle we ask for this in plain language — no goals framework, no SMART targets. The circle uses it to match you to the right room and to the right prompts.
How does an intention become a circle?
Take a founder who writes "I want to ship a paid AI product in 90 days". They are matched into a small Founders circle of 8–12 people on similar paths. The host sets the rhythm — a weekly prompt, a monthly reflection — and the circle gets its own discussion room, resource vault and progress ledger. They are not dropped into a feed of strangers.
What does a conversation look like inside a circle?
A host posts a weekly prompt such as "What is the one thing blocking your next paying customer this week?". Members reply honestly. Someone ticks "Make this a commitment" on their reply — that post quietly becomes a Commitment Card with a small next step and a due date. Other members reply with questions, encouragement or a useful link. The link gets pinned into the Resource Vault. Nothing is shouted. Nothing is gamified.
What counts as an outcome?
Outcomes are the visible things the circle produced. A Commitment Card moved from "in progress" to "done" with a short reflection ("Sent the proposal. They said yes."). A Decision logged in the ledger ("Stopped offering the £500 tier — focusing on the £2k engagement."). A Member Win shared with the room. A Shared Playbook the circle wrote together. A Monthly Outcome Report the host sends out. None of this is vanity — it is the quiet evidence that the room is working.
Where do I see all of this?
Every circle page carries a calm "This Circle has produced" summary — commitments closed, decisions logged, resources kept, wins shared. Members get a personal "My Progress" panel with their own commitments and next steps. Hosts get an Outcome Dashboard with Meaningful Circle Rate and Next Step Rate. It is the opposite of a leaderboard — it is a mirror.
What it is not
It is not a project tracker, a Kanban board, a streak counter or a feed of likes. There are no badges, no public rankings, no notifications begging you back in. The Outcome Engine is designed to be quiet — it only shows up when you have something honest to update.
